Senior members of staff at Wexford County Council (WCC) are not being notified of road traffic accidents in their districts despite being responsible for safety measures on the county’s roads. At the December meeting of the Enniscorthy Municipal District (EMD) roads engineer Neil Dempsey admitted that he wasn’t receiving any official confirmation of accidents from the guards despite his best efforts.

Ukrainian refugees set to be relocated within Wexford as new owners of former hotel revealed ↗

Ukrainian refugees accommodated within the old Hotel Rosslare building in Rosslare Harbour are facing a major upheaval after it emerged that the hotel has been sold and they are to be relocated elsewhere, with the Department of Justice not renewing the contract for an accommodation centre there.
